Blouse and Jerkin: The blouse gathers under the yoke at front and back. The front band and facing are cut in one. Style I, blouse is styled with seven rows of stitching on the front band, short sleeves and a round collar. The side-buttoning jerkin is smartly fitted with darts at the waistline. Style III, blouse, has a notched collar, short sleeves, one pocket and two rows of stitching.

Blouse: Styles I and II feature a high, round neck, gathered in front and fastened in back, finished with bias binding. Style II has long sleeves finished with a wrist band. Style II is edged with bias binding at the neck and short puff sleeves and trimmed with bias bows. Styles III and IV are fashioned with a cap sleeve cut in one with the blouse. The opening is at the shoulder. Style III has a high round neckline. Rick-rack trims the sleeves and oval neck of Style IV.

The button front blouse is styled with a forward shoulder seam which releases soft gathers in the blouse front. Styles 1 and2 have revers cut in one with the blouse front. In Style 1, a double bias ruffle outlines the front, revers and neck. Style 2 has a patch pockets on the left side and a one button closing. Snaps replace the other buttons. Style 3 features a high round neckline and front band. A pleated jabot is gathered between band and blouse front. Style 4 his gathered between band and blouse front. Style 3 has a notched collar and patch pocket. Top stitching is used for trimming.
