A news flash from England, only a few weeks ago, was, “Jacques Tiffeau is the United States winner of the London Sunday Times Fashion Award”. Jacques Tiffeau, designer for Tiffeau Busch, always is in on the wave lengths of fashion-conscious people, the world over. This coat (or wear it as a coat dress) expresses the “gentle lady” look the fashion reporters are talking about. Shaped front seaming ends in vertical piped pockets. With this design, he wraps up lots of news; the high, set-in sleeves, and they are narrower; the empire-tied sash that is drawn through a button-hole at the top-stitching. Notice the stand-up-straight collar that is set away from the neck to make it look longer and more swan like; also, the side front closing with snap fasteners.
